Our Cancellation Policy

We know your time is valuable, the same as our doctors’ time. Therefore, we require at least 4 hours notice if you cannot keep your appointment so that we can give your appointment time to another patient, who can attend.

A cancellation fee of $40 for standard GP consultation including telehealth consultations or $60 for long consultation applies to non-attendance or late cancellations (less than 4 hours prior to your appointment). The fee is not claimable through Medicare. All cancellation fees must be paid at your next Bronte Medical Centre appointment

If there are any circumstances beyond your control which prevent you from cancelling your appointment with sufficient notice you should let us know as soon as possible.

A 24 hour cancellation policy applies for appointments with the psychologist. To ensure our allied health team can meet the needs of their patients, we require that you supply us with no less than 24 hour hours notice if you need to change or cancel your appointment. You may be liable to pay a cancellation fee of up to $120 for any appointments cancelled within 24 hours.
